STHS Hospitality & Tourism Pathway provides college and career preparation & opportunities in resort and recreational management, culinary arts entry level positions in the hospitality industry.

Culinary Arts
Culinary Arts 1
Students will learn introductory culinary skills and techniques and plan, prepare and present simple foods to provide an entrance to the culinary arts industry.
Culinary Arts 2
Students will learn about all major food groups in order to prepare vegetarian, vegan, sushi and global cuisines and introduction to baking and pastry making.

Recreation & Resort Management
STHS Recreation & Resort Management is designed to help develop and practice the knowledge and tasks required for success in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Recreation & Resort Management 1
Students gain training in guest services and exploration for careers in the ever-expanding tourism, recreation, culinary and resort management professions locally and world-wide.
Recreation & Resort Management 2
Students learn leadership and management skills in order to advance in the hospitality and tourism professions in management and professional careers.

Event Planning & Leadership
Students learn about the role and obligations of professional event planners and the techniques and processes used to design and execute a variety of family and school-related social activities based on ASB needs and input. The program provides instruction of the basic structure of popular life, social, and corporate events.
Event Planning 1
Students learn about the many facets of event planning including site selection, budgeting, promotion, and catering in order to support school activities such as dances, parades, rallies, banquets, school sports, monthly meetings, and other leadership settings.
Event Planning 2
Students continue to learn about the many facets of event planning in order to support school and community based conferences, sporting events, weddings, and workshops.
Leadership
Students learn how to be an effective leader and develop skills related to leadership history, goal setting, time management, effective communication, diversity, and decision making.
